We’re excited to announce the launch of Eden AI V3, our new generation API designed to make AI integration simpler, more powerful, and more flexible than ever

What’s new in Eden AI V3?

With V3, we’ve redesigned our API around two core endpoints:

• An OpenAI-compatible LLM endpoint: A drop-in replacement for OpenAI’s Chat Completions API, with built-in streaming and the ability to switch seamlessly between multiple LLM providers using the same format.

• A Universal AI endpoint: One single endpoint that gives you access to all other AI features—OCR, speech-to-text, translation, image and video analysis, moderation, embeddings, document parsing, and more. You can easily switch between features and providers using a unified model format, without changing your integration logic.

Together, these two endpoints let you orchestrate LLMs and specialized AI models through a single, consistent API—while staying flexible and provider-agnostic.

Please note that not all AI features are available yet in the new version (speech-to-text, text-to-speech, document parsing, etc.). We are actively working on migrating all functionalities to V3 as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you can continue using them with V2.

What about V2?

If you’re currently using Eden AI V2, you can continue to do so without any disruption:

All V2 endpoints will continue to be fully maintained for the next 12 months, giving you ample time to migrate to V3 at your own pace.
